The creation of the Sandwell Children’s Trust marks a fresh start for Sandwell’s children’s social care services. The Trust has been established by the Council following the statutory direction of the Secretary of State as a company limited by guarantee. Our ambition is that the Trust, building on recent improvements will drive a sustainable model of delivery and improvement designed to bring good and outstanding services to the Borough – innovating where possible and using the freedoms of the Trust approach to develop a new and sharper focus; to be a great place to work and to put children and families at the heart of what we do
Following the appointment of the Chief Executive, Frances Craven, Sandwell Children’s Trust is seeking to appoint its first senior Management team, consisting of the following new posts:
- Director of Quality and Performance
- Director of Resources
- Director of Operations
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Children’s Services in Sandwell and the Trust is looking to appoint outstanding individuals who can demonstrate they have a track record of successful delivery, the required skills and experience; and can perform to a high standard in a leadership team focused on excellence and improvement.

All appointments will be made by Sandwell Children’s Trust and successful applicants will be employed directly by Sandwell Children’s Trust.
